Using an Access Code

Using an access code is the first step in setting up your account as a teacher. You will first need to have received a digital access email containing the code. If you need help locating this email, see this article for more information or contact support@perfectionnext.com.



1. Once you have located your access code, go to the platform login page at perfectionnext.com and select the gray Use a code button.



2. This should take you to the following screen. Enter the access code from the email into the field labeled Enter Your Code. Make sure it matches exactly.



3. Enter your code and then press the gray Next button.



4. A confirmation screen will appear to verify that you’ve accessed the correct school. If the school looks right, click the gray Next button. Otherwise press the Back button.

5. You should now be at a screen where you can input your email. This should generally be your school email address. Enter your email address and press the gray Next button.



6. Click Next on the confirmation screen if everything looks good.

7. This will take you to a screen where you can enter your first name. Enter your first name and click Next. Note that you will have the ability to change your name later in your account if necessary.



8. This will take you to a screen where you can enter your last name. Enter your last name and click Next.



9. You will now be on a screen where you can create a password. Note that you will have the ability to change your password later. Note:

      a. Passwords must be at least six characters long.
      b. Passwords must include both a lowercase and an uppercase letter.
      c. Passwords must include a number.



10. On the next screen you will need to reenter your password exactly as you entered it the first time. Then click Next.



11. If the passwords match, you will be taken to your dashboard and the use a code process is complete. Next steps will be creating your class(es) and adding books to your class.
