Uploading Students Using a CSV File

Follow the steps below to upload multiple students into the system. 
You should only follow this process if you are NOT following the Using the Class Code process.
  1. Click the three horizontal bars in the top-left corner:

  2. The navigation menu will open up and you can click the Users option.

  3. If you do not currently have any students in the system, you will see this screen.

  4. Click the Upload Students button in the top-right corner of the screen.

  5. This will open up a new screen that looks like this:

  6. Click the blue Download Template link.
     
  7. This will download a .CSV file onto your device. Follow the CSV file instructions for help preparing the file for upload.
  8. Once the file is ready to upload, click the Select File to Upload.

    1. If you followed the steps in the CSV file instructions article, then the file should be saved to your desktop.
  9. Select the saved .CSV file to upload.
  10. After selecting the file, it should pull the student information into the system.

  11. If you have no errors, then the students will all have a green check mark next to their information.
    1. If you have an error, you will see a red X next to the student information.
    2. It will show you where the error is and you can double-click in the field to fix the information. 
  12. If there are no errors, click the green Add Student Records button to add the students to the system. 
  13. You will see a confirmation message after clicking Add Student Records.
  14. Follow Adding Students to Class to place the students into a class.
