Removing Licenses for Individual Students
Please note: These instructions will remove a student from
any classes they are enrolled in and will free up the student licenses
currently occupied by the student. These instructions will NOT remove the
student from the database, however, and they can be added back into classes as
needed.
As far as removing students completely from the database,
this generally happens during a data wipe in the summer. If you would like to
remove any students completely from the system at a different time, please
email support@perfectionlearning.com with the usernames of the students you
would like deleted.
Follow the steps below to remove an individual student from
all classes and all licenses:
1. Click the
Manage button in the top right corner of the screen. Select the Users
option from the dropdown menu.
2. This should take you to the Manage Students page
where all the student accounts are listed. Find the row of the student you want to remove. You can search through the list by name or username by selecting the corresponding search icon.
3. Click the gears icon on the right side
of the row of the student you want to remove.
4. Select the
Update Account option from the dropdown menu.
5. This should
take you to the Update Student Account page with all the information for that
individual student.
6. Click into
the field labeled Account Status. Select DELETED from the
dropdown menu.
7. With the
Account Status now changed to DELETED, click the blue Update
Account button.
8. A confirmation
message will appear indicating that the change has been made.
