How to Install STIX Fonts on Your System
Step 1: Download and unzip the STIX fonts
To install STIX fonts on your computer, please download the latest STIX fonts ZIP file at http://files.kineticbooks.com/downloads/STIXv1.1.1-latex.zip. After unzipping, you will find the STIX-General and STIX-Word versions of the font set within the Fonts directory. Each version contains identical glyphs packaged as a collection of OpenType fonts files with name STIX* and extension OTF.
