When you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.
Check browser support sites for instructions:
In Chrome
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More
. Click More tools
Clear browsing data. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
Click Clear data.
Edge
Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the browser.
Choose Settings.
Under Clear Browsing Data click Choose What To Clear.
Select the items you wish to clear (e.g., Browsing History, Cookies and Saves Website Date, Cached Data and Files, Downloaded History and Form Data).
Click Clear.
Safari
MAC
Click the Safari menu, then Clear History
In the Clear field choose All History
Click Clear History.
iPad, iPhone
From the home screen, Select Settings > Safari.
At the bottom of Safari's settings screen, Select Clear cookies and data or Clear Cookies and Clear Cache.
Confirm when prompted.
Google Chrome (and other browsers) may also offer to save your passwords through a personal Google account. To clear or change the saved password, refer to Managing Passwords on Chrome.
